I'm a bit ashamed to admit that this one is directly based on one of my earlier and most succesful artworks directly, but AI-ified. I based this one directly on "Othra - TOLL". And what i did for the most part to make this one become different was that i changed the initial input by running the original through an AI for a couple of hundred iterations till i found something i liked, then ran it through all the same filters as "Othra - TOLL".
However, i will say this: Whilst the previous is nice and all, the update here has way better colors. This is in part thanks to my development as an artist in the 3~ years since the original, and in part thanks to Lemony's work "The Temple": https://x.com/voxelemon/status/1583065777917562883
I saw this on twitter and instantly fell in love with the pink of it, so had to try to match that as closely as possible. It's curious how often my works are inspired by the colors of other artists, but i guess that's just who i am: someone using whichever means necessary to get a good artwork in the end. This of course comes with the obvious downfall that i'll have that much of a harder time understanding what i did right and thus learning from the artwork too. But when this is more or less an iteration of an older artwork of my own, i think that covers that.
