Process

I generally try to abstain from terms such as "cyber" and "neon" as i feel those terms are overused, and have definite mainstream definitions by now. Deeply ingrained in me is the desire or need to be different - in everything. As such i find it incredibly difficult to follow trends, which of course is a big contradiction seeing as I'm actively making NFT art. With all that being said, this piece is probably my most cyberneon piece in my body of work, and i don't hate it. Infact, i think of "Flux" as not a real place as i do most my other works, but rather a virtual place. Perhaps a VR world. It feels cold, synthetic and dead to me, like cold metal or a snapshot. The air stagnant and fresh, hitting the back of the throat. The only sounds making any ruckus being a slight draft coming from somewhere distant, just enough to elude a loud silence. I think works such as these are among the worst kinds of works for me, because while they manage to captivate me temporarily, they hardly ever bring any new findings with them, and just make the accompanying emptiness of finishing a project that much louder. "Another reality conjured, on to the next".
